A/Prof Edward Barin is a Specialist Cardiologist with special interests in Arrhythmias, Implanted Devices and Hypertension Biology.
Having graduated with Honours at Sydney Medical School, A/Prof Barin obtained a Master’s Degree from its School of Public Health and completed postgraduate training in London, United Kingdom. He previously directed the Pacemaker Clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital and served as Section Head in Cardiology until 2013. Until recently, he held an appointment as Adjunct Professor in the FEIT at University of Technology Sydney. He has also been involved in device-based vascular and clinical research.
A/Prof Barin is currently Clinical Associate Professor at Macquarie University.
A/Prof Barin is accredited to provide care at Royal North Shore Hospital, Ryde Hospital, North Shore Private and Macquarie University Hospital. At Macquarie University Hospital, he also helps coordinate teaching and research programs in the University Hospital’s Clinic.
