A/Prof. Rebecca Kozor is a consultant cardiologist with specialist expertise in cardiac imaging (cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR), cardiac CT and echocardiography). Her areas of interests include chest pain, preventative cardiology, pre-operative cardiac risk assessment, and women's cardiac health.

A/Prof. Kozor completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales, cardiology specialty training at Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney, and a CMR clinical research fellowship at Barts Heart Centre, London, UK. She was awarded her PhD at the University of Sydney.

A/Prof. Kozor is an active cardiovascular researcher and associate professor at the University of Sydney, where she co-directs the USyd CMR Research Group. She has many publications in leading peer reviewed scientific journals, and has been awarded major grants to continue her research.

A/Prof. Kozor is also actively involved in education and advocacy of CMR and cardiovascular research: she is Vice President of the Australia New Zealand CMR Working Group; co-organiser of CMR Australia meetings; an Associate Editor of Cases of SCMR; member of Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand Scientific Committee; former Board Director of Heart Research Australia.

In addition to consulting from our Chatswood Clinic A/Prof. Kozor is a staff specialist cardiologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and is also accredited to provide care at North Shore Private Hospital.
