Dr. Elizabeth Shaw

Structural & Interventional Cardiologist

Dr Elizabeth Shaw is an interventional specialist in cardiology and structural heart procedures, with a particular interest in women’s heart health and aortic stenosis.

She completed her specialist training at Royal North Shore Hospital, after which she completed her interventional training at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. Recently, Dr Shaw has completed a two year structural heart fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in the United States.

Dr Shaw has been a lecturer for The University of Sydney’s Medical School and a senior lecturer for The University of Queensland’s Medical school. Dr Shaw has delivered multiple presentations at both national and international conferences in her research area of coronary artery disease, Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy as well as the treatment of aortic stenosis.

In addition to consulting from our Chatswood and Dee Why clinics, Dr Shaw is a consultant cardiologist at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. She is also accredited to provide care at Sydney Adventist Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital.
